Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer, born August 4, 1981 is an American actor. Her roles in films Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful and in the tv show Angela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most recognizable works. Her current role is Amantha Holden in The Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in both television and film. The actress gained acclaim for her performances in the drama series Rectify as well as the sci-fi show Timeless. A native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut by playing a role in the soap-opera All My Children. To honor her performance, she won the Soap Opera Digest Award as an Outstanding Female Newcomer. She was a frequent guest during a number of years on television shows. The most well-known was the role she played as Dr. Erin Jameson, in the show Hawthorne. Her stunning looks and a dazzling acting ability, she slowly gained the attention of a huge fan base. Her film debut came when she was around 20 and was acting in the movie Campfire Stones. The actress has also been featured on Jekyll This Means War, Chasing Mavericks as well as other films. The role she played in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination for the Madrid International Film Festival Award. She played Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless. It has been well-received by critics, and Spencer's character has been nominated for The Teen Choice Award.
