Emma Stone
Emily Jean Stone was born to Krista Jean
Stone and Jeffrey Charles Stone in Scottsdale, Arizona, on November 6 1988. She
is a homemaker. Jeffrey Charles Stone is the founder and CEO of contracting
company, Stone Contracting. She has Swedish and British Isles roots. Stone
began acting as a child at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. There she made her
stage debut in the production in "The Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth
Grahame. In her teens Stone performed in of numerous productions until she took
the decision to make acting her profession. She created an PowerPoint
presentation that was backed by Madonna's "Hollywood", and entitled
"Project Hollywood", to convince her parents to allow her to go to
school and relocate to Los Angeles. She and her mother pitched the pitch and
relocated to LA. Her education was completed at home and she spent the time
performing auditions. Her TV debut was when she was chosen to play Laurie
Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The
show resulted in a number of small TV performances over the course of the
years. Her movie debut was as Jules in Superbad (2007) and, after a string of
impressive performances, her lead part as Olive in Easy A (2010) established
her as a leading actress. She was a student at Xavier College Preparatory,
Phoenix, Arizona. While she's referred to as a redhead, her natural hair color
is blonde. Judd Apatow suggested that she alter her hair color to fit the style
of Superbad (2007). The actress was so impressed, she decided to keep her hair.
She convinced her parents to allow her to move to Hollywood when she reached
the age of 15 by making an PowerPoint presentation that was appropriately
titled Project Hollywood. She began her career in acting at the age of 11 age
in the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, where she performed in more than 16
stage productions , as well as acting in the comedy improv troupe. Caylee Cowan
was also acted at the Valley Youth Theatre.
